Some of Skid Baxter's Best Friends
American Dog - The last of a dying breed, and not to be missed. Michael Hannon, Steve Theado and Kieth Pickens are the essence of rock n' roll.
Aric Slater - A great friend and an outstanding artist. He is responsible for some amazing album art for Walt James, Suspect Earth, Skid Baxter, Chris Sutton and others; as well as being a Mothman afficianado (and artist). Broadmoor Recording Studio - Russ Fox is one of the all-time great guys and a great record producer to boot. Chris Sutton - Co-conspirator in life as well as on many Skid Baxter recordings. Fishtank Audio - Owned and operated by the amazing Jack Campitelli. Frank Zappa - The greatest composer of the twentieth-century. The Godz - Columbus, Ohio's own. Fronted by my friend, THE "rock n' roll machine", Eric Moore, The Godz remain one of the greatest American Hard Rock bands of all time. ![]() The Godz - New OFFICIAL MySpace page! Jake Cravotta - The product of professional jazz-musicians Kathy Dodge Cravotta and Bobby Cravotta, both of whom formed the nucleous of one of my earliest musical influences, the Kathy Dodge Trio. Glad to count Jake among my very best friends. The Kathy Dodge Trio - A major early influence. Bobby Cravotta was one of the first drummers I ever saw play live. Linda & Cary Dachtyl - I don't know where I would be had I not met them back in the "wayback when." I'm proud to have shared the stage, studio, and life experiences with them. Matt Venus - The most dangerous guitar player I know. Sam Massey - One of my best friends from the old neighborhood. He is a law-enforcement official (cop) in North Carolina, and a very talented musician to boot. Suspect Earth - Watch these guys. Hard work and determination have won them a fanatical following. Troy Luccketta - The most dangerous drummer I know. A great friend, as well as being one of my musical mentors. Walt James - Had a blast playin' with Walt, one of the most talented guitarist/songwriters around. |
